Is Lostine Any Good!
LOSTINE’s readers have sure made me think so.
Back when I was part of an Oregon Coast writers’ group called Tuesday, back when I wrote LOSTINE’s earliest chapters, way back then, LOSTINE was a heady experience. I was having a blast going where the story took me. Tuesday, the writing group, acted like they were crowded around the old-time radio, same time, same station, anxious to hear the next serial installment of what Lostine, the narrator and Koz would do next.
Since that time, during about twenty five dozen revisions/improvements of LOSTINE, I have found LOSTINE continues to re-generate, even for me, the same exact excitements.
On more than one occasion, I was warned at length that LOSTINE has a special life that must be protected from the vagaries of industrial editorialship.
Possible fifty percent of LOSTINE’s total readership to this 2021 point, have been deeply moved by the character of Lostine herself; these emphatic readers have all been mature women.
